We've had several 4x4 shops approach us about stocking/selling our 'GetBent!' DVDs in their stores. Naturally, the local shops here in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex are the ones asking first, but we've had a couple other places interested as well...and truth be told, we don't even have our vendor program setup entirely yet! We're still putting together the retail Point-of-Purchase display and signage kits, and those probably won't be ready for a couple more weeks. Guess we didn't anticipate that 4x4 shops would be wanting these for their shelves so soon!

Well this has been a particularly busy week for us; in addition to all the regular work we do, we receive orders everyday and take a load of packages to the post office every other day or so. We haven't gotten to know the lady at the post office on a first-name basis yet, but we're getting close to that point. ;-)

We're also receiving a LOT of incredibly positive feedback from folks who've seen the video. We're going to try and put together a list of review "quotes" on our website when we get a chance, but considering how busy we are that may be a few weeks away from happening. But if you've got feedback, please send it to us at customerservice@getbent4x4.com so we can include it in the upcoming review quotes page.

Wow, what a wild and crazy week it's been--whew! We got the first DVDs a week ago (the boxes that came overnight) and shipped out the pre-orders, and promptly sold out of that initial inventory within 3 days! We then received the remainder of our DVDs (the boxes that came via ground service) and we emptied an entire case of those in one night, just to fill orders that had come in that week alone. We were totally blown away! So THANK YOU again for the sales--we appreciate your faith in us!

In addition to shipping copies to people, we also are in the middle of shipping copies to local 4x4 shops for retail sales. Two of our sponsors, Baertrax and No Limits 4x4 operate local 4x4 shops, and both will be selling copies of the DVDs in their stores. If you're in the area, stop by and talk to the fine folks at those shops! And of course, mention that you saw they're sponsoring GetBent!

The other two DFW-area 4x4 shops that will be receiving DVDs for retail sale are PSC Motorsports and also Expert Offroad. So if you frequent any of these shops and want to purchase a DVD in person instead of online, they'll have them for you!

One more thing...

This coming weekend, we will be at BMRA in Gilmer, TX where Lone Star Jeep Club will be having their "Election Day Run" and picnic. We will be out there with videos and t-shirts for sale on Saturday during the picnic lunch! We also are helping to sponsor the event with a donation of 4 copies of the DVD.

Just a quick update about shipping; ALL pre-orders of both DVDs and T-shirts (meaning, all orders placed between our announcement date of Jan 30th through Feb 28th) were packed up and shipped out yesterday and today. They hit the main Dallas Post Office beffore the last pickup, and are probably working their way through the mail sorting system as I type this. So if you ordered, start watching your mailboxes!

I think I'm going to get some sleep now; I was up until 3:30 this morning putting all of those packages together so we could ship them out today. I'm very tired; HAPPY that these initial orders are filled, but tired nonetheless. I'm going to sleep like a rock tonight. :-)

The first batch of DVDs arrived in our office today -- we had a good chunk of them delivered overnight, and the remainder are coming via Ground Service next week -- and we're working as fast as we can to get mailing labels generated and put them in the mail to all the folks who pre-ordered. We snatched one out of the box, tore off the shrinkwrap, popped it into the DVD player, and watched the whole thing, including all the DVD extras. Everything is perfect! We couldn't be more pleased with the manufacturing; like everything else, we strive to create a top-notch professional product, and the DVD packaging is right on target.

Also, in a totally unrelated manufacturing process, our T-shirts showed up today as well! We weren't sure if we were going to get them done in time, but our screen printer busted their tails to make it happen on time. Big kudos to Mike (a fellow Jeeper who wheels a CJ-7) at ClownCo Screen Printing in Mesquite, Texas. There are a lot of t-shirt companys in the world, and they're all price competitive, but if you want great service and fast turn times, and want to support another four wheeler in the process, give Mike a call.

One more comment about the t-shirts: they're 100% cotton Hanes shirts, black fabric with the 'GetBent!' logo on the front in white ink. But if you'll notice, there's no physical 'size' tag; instead, these are the new 'tagless' shirts with the brand/size info printed on the inside of the neck. That's actually pretty neat because t-shirt tags can sometimes be annoying and irritating. I definately like this tagless feature, and will be sure to look for them in the future.

Well we're gonna get back to work now; I just figured I'd take a break from all the packing & shipping to post these pics and info. We just wanted to let you know that if you pre-ordered, your package is beeing put together right now and will and heading your direction soon!
