Primary filming for Episode 2 is done

A couple weeks ago, over Memorial Day weekend, we finished shooting all our primary footage for 'GetBent!' Episode 2 - Clayton. In fact, we've completed all our B-roll shooting as well. We do have some other 'secret' filming we haven't completed yet, but I can't talk about that just quite yet--you'll just have to wait until the video is out this fall to find out what special stuff we're including this time around. The only thing I can tell you that it's gonna be really cool.

One quick note about our Memorial Day video shoot: a crazy guy named Craig in a big white Jeep CJ rolled his rig completely over...HARD! And wouldn't you know it, I was only feet away from his rig, and of course it had to roll TOWARDS me! LOL! Here's a picture to illustrate my proximity to the rolling Jeep:

Yeah, that's me crouched on a rock BEHIND the rear tire of the rig, right under the yellow spray paint trail marker! The rig continued to flop from here onto it's side, literally landing inches from my feet. I gotta tell ya, my heart was pumping from that one! The shot turned out really well; I swear, you can really FEEL the rollover! And of course, Craig was screaming "Woo-hoo! Yeah Baby!" as his rig was rolling over. That guy knows how to have a good time. Ha ha!

We are shooting for a September/October release date for the second episode DVD; July and August will be dedicated strictly to editing/authoring.

In the meantime, we're packing our bags tomorrow because we're flying out to Moab for our second video shoot out there for Episode 3. We've got a busy shooting schedule setup for the end of this week and through the weekend, and we're hoping to get some more great slickrock footage.

I just hope I don't have to get so close to a roll over this time. ;-)
