The truth is, video production is an expensive endevor, and we wouldn’t be able to do it without our sponsors. So please take a minute to visit our SPONSORS PAGE and see what they offer.

Boy have we been busy!

Man, we've had a busy couple of weeks! It started off poorly when I broke my toe; it's not bad, and thankfully it's just the next-to-last small toe so I'm really not hindered too much, but it sure does hurt if I bend it the wrong way! I've had it taped up for a while now, and it's getting much better. The purple color is almost all gone. He-he!

Of course, one week after I broke my toe, I was out hiking on the rocks in Clayton, Oklahoma shooting footage for Episode 2. That hurt, but we got a ton of great footage. The trails in Clayton are truly incredible; nothing like crawlin over a solid string of craggy boulders all day! This was our third trip to Clayton for video coverage, and we've got two more shooting trips scheduled, including a two-day shoot to cover the big FWD-FWD 2006 Memorial Day High Country Trail Ride event.

Right now, we've got about 14 hours of Clayton footage, and we anticipate shooting at least 12 to 16 more hours. That'll give us around 30 hours of footage to edit, which is about twice what we shot for Episode 1; should make for an even more exciting video!

In addition to shooting footage for Episode 2, we're about to start shooting footage for Episode 3 as well! We'll be heading out to Moab, Utah for the famous Easter Jeep Safari event, shooting three solid days out there. Yeah, it's really early for us to be starting on Episode 3 already, but we feel that we've GOT to include some EJS footage in a video featuring Moab; it's a big part of what Moab has become such a special 4 wheelin destination. After EJS, we've got several more trips planned to Moab later in the year, including a long weekend in June, a week in August, and a possible trip in September as well.

But after the EJS trip, we'll be getting right back to work on Episode 2. We're hoping to ship it in late summer/early fall.

Oh, and one more thing...

This is kinda geeky and it probably won't interest most of you, but we just bought another camera. It's a SONY HVR-A1U model, very similar to the DSR-PDX10 cameras we currently shoot with (in fact, the A1U replaced the PDX10) but with one big differrence: it's HIGH-DEFINITION HDV. Woo-hoo!

See you on the trails!
